Position Summary

Responsible for full lifecycle delivery of complex construction projects across federal, state/local municipal, institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead $1M–$10M projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, coordination, and contract compliance

• Develop, manage, and update construction schedules using Primavera P6

• Capacity to independently create and maintain detailed construction schedules

• Manage owner, engineer, and government agency relationships

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes for constructability

• Manage pay applications, change orders, and cost controls

• Support estimating, preconstruction, and value engineering

• Ensure compliance with federal and municipal contract requirements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience

• Federal government and municipal construction experience required

• Primavera P6 scheduling experience required

• Strong estimating, scheduling, and cost control skills

• Proven leadership and communication abilities

Position Summary

The Construction Operations Manager provides executive-level oversight of company-wide project execution, operational performance, and business administration. This individual will serve as a key strategic partner to the COO and CEO and will play a critical role in scaling CMI’s operations, financial controls, and internal systems.

This role requires a highly trustworthy, detail-oriented, and business-minded leader with experience in finance, accounting, and organizational growth. Over time, this individual will become a right-hand leader within the organization and a steward of CMI’s operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple project teams and field leadership 

• Lead and manage the office administration and operational support functions of CMI

 • Work hand-in-hand with Project Managers to support budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and project controls 

• Oversee and manage CMI’s construction accounting software, including job cost reporting, financial tracking, and operational data integrity

 • Monitor project budgets, schedules, cash flow, and overall operational performance 

• Standardize company-wide project controls, procedures, reporting, and best practices 

• Support staffing plans, workload forecasting, and organizational scaling efforts

• Partner with leadership on financial planning, operational strategy, and business growth initiatives

• Mentor Project Managers and Superintendents on operational discipline and financial accountability 

• Serve as a trusted liaison between field operations, office administration, and executive leadership 

• Report directly to the COO and CEO

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction operations or senior leadership experience 

• Strong background in business operations, finance, and accounting, preferably within construction 

• Proven experience helping scale organizations and improve operational efficiency 

• Strong federal and municipal contracting background 

• Experience managing construction accounting systems and job cost controls 

• Ability to analyze financial data and translate it into actionable operational decisions 

• High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness 

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and project teams

Position Summary

The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and enforcing CMI’s safety culture and safety management systems across all projects. This individual must be an independent, authoritative, and highly experienced safety professional who leads by example and has the confidence to stop work when necessary to protect CMI, its employees, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.

Safety at CMI is the number one priority, and this role is entrusted with safeguarding the company’s people, reputation, and contractual standing—especially on federal and municipal projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary authority for all jobsite safety matters across CMI projects 

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide and project-specific safety programs 

• Enforce compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations 

• Conduct regular and unannounced jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments 

• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and advanced safety training programs

• Possess full authority to stop work when unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified 

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations; implement corrective and preventive actions 

• Maintain detailed safety documentation, reports, logs, and regulatory records 

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents by integrating safety into daily operations and planning 

• Actively protect CMI’s contractual, legal, and reputational interests through proactive risk management 

• Lead by example in the field, setting expectations for professionalism, accountability, and compliance 

• Participate in preconstruction planning to identify safety risks and mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent advanced experience) 

• 7+ years of progressive construction safety management experience 

• Extensive experience on federal and municipal construction projects 

• Advanced safety certifications strongly preferred (e.g., OSHA 500/510, CSP, CHST, ASP) 

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage safety programs across multiple active jobsites 

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1, and federal safety requirements 

• Proven leadership skills with the confidence to enforce standards without compromise 

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion 

• Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills

CMI is seeking a professional who wants to grow with the company, take ownership of their work, and help elevate the mechanical division through strong leadership, accountability, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute mechanical installations and sequencing from mobilization through closeout 

• Actively participate in mechanical estimating, takeoffs, pricing, and preconstruction planning 

• Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, trade partners, and in-house construction crews 

• Lead daily field operations including manpower planning, task assignments, and productivity tracking 

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability 

• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and system startups 

• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery

• Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within project budget 

• Enforce project-specific safety plans and company safety standards at all times 

• Work closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues, manage changes, and support cost control

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical construction experience

• Proven ability to manage construction crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners

• Experience delivering projects ranging from $1M–$10M 

• Federal or municipal project experience required

 • Preferred: Holder of a State of Georgia and/or South Carolina Mechanical Contractor License (or equivalent state-approved mechanical license)
